جمیل‌علیزاده شایق در گفت‌وگو با خبرنگار اقتصادی خبرگزاری فارس؛ در پاسخ به اینکه قیمت خرید تضمینی برنج تا چه اندازه در راستای حمایت از تولید است، گفت: اگر بپذیریم قیمت خرید تضمینی ابزار مدیریتی برای سوق‌دادن کشاورزان به کشت ارقام پرمحصول است با اعلام دیرهنگام چنین نتیجه‌ای حاصل نمی‌شود.

وی ادامه داد: به عنوان مثال کشت رقم برنج سفید‌رود تقریبا منسوخ شده و کل مساحت کشت آن در استان گیلان شاید به ده‌ هکتار هم نرسد همچنین رقم برنج آمار نیز در دهه‌های 40 و 50 کشت می‌شد و اکنون در مناطق محدودی از استان کهگیلویه و بویراحمد و بخشی از استان خوزستان کشت می‌شود و ارقام ندا و نعمت نیز سطح کشت‌ حداقلی دارند.

به گفته علیزاده تاکنون سازمان تحقیقات آموزش و ترویج کشاورزی حداقل 20 نوع ارقام پرمحصول را معرفی کرده در حالی که بر ارقام معرفی شده از سوی دولت اثری از آنها دیده نمی‌شود.

وی گفت: وزارت جهاد کشاورزی در آذر 90 حدود 14 رقم را به وزارت صنعت، معدن و تجارت برای تعیین قیمت معرفی کرد و تأکید شد که این ارقام به تأیید انجمن برنج، سازمان تحقیقات و پژوهش‌های وزارت جهاد کشاورزی رسیده است اما در لیست دولت از ارقام پیشنهادی اثری نیست.

رئیس اتحادیه تولید‌کنندگان برنج همچنین تصریح کرد: در مصوبه دولت مسئولیت خرید نیز معلوم نشده و مفهوم آن این است که هر وزارتخانه‌ای می‌تواند به عنوان مسئول قلمداد شود.
